Second meeting of the intersessional process considering the Strategic Approach and the sound management of chemicals and waste beyond 2020, Stockholm, Sweden, 13-15 March 2018

LOGISTICAL INFORMATION:

Registration and requested documentation for each participant should be submitted no later than 31 January 2018. Please note that registration for participants seeking funding from the secretariat will not be considered after this date.

For a government representative: the nominated participant must be communicated to the secretariat through the SAICM National Focal Point, where such focal point has been designated, or through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if the Government has yet to nominate a SAICM National Focal Point.

For an organization representative: the nominated participant must be communicated to the secretariat through the SAICM Focal Point. Please note that available funds only allow to cover travel expenses for a limited number of representatives of eligible non-governmental organizations. SAICM stakeholders that are in a position to fund themselves are strongly encouraged to do so in order to maximize the use of limited resources for the meeting.

Air travel for funded participants will be arranged according to the United Nations Secretariat rules, via the most economical means possible in all cases. Please note that changes to air tickets after they have been issued will not be permitted.

Please note that participants are responsible for obtaining their own entrance visa and transit visa if required. We encourage participants to obtain information immediately from the embassy or consulate of Sweden nearest to them.
